Buying, or at least viewing paintings over the internet is obviously not
ideal, paintings after all are not just images, they have a presence, a physicality.
I do think however, one can get a
pretty good idea of what one likes even in
cyberspace. For this reason I am very happy to
offer a money back guarantee to any purchaser.
If a particular painting interests you check with
me by email or phone and I will let you know if it
is still available and what the shipping costs will be.
If you would like to know when I might be exhibiting near you
sign up for the mailing list 'News' or send me an email.
If you would like to enquire about commissioning a portrait or a painting,
please phone or email me. I have completed many commissions and can provide examples
of past work
relevant to your particular project along with references and
responses from previous clients.
I have written a page
here about portrait commissions

The Comtat Venaisson area of Provence is stunningly beautiful at any time
of year, but the time to see it at its very best, is Spring and Autumn. The
Ventoux region is very well placed for transport, with Marseille's international
airport an hour's drive away and the TGV at Avignon providing fast and reliable rail
links to Paris, London and the rest of Europe. If you would like more information about
the Ventoux area then I suggest you visit some other web sites of interest, particularly the
Hostellerie de Crillon-le-Brave
which is very informative. The Hostellerie is a superb Hotel set up ten years ago by two
enterprising Canadian's, and it just happens to be on my doorstep. A member of 'Relais and
Châteaux' it has a rather good restaurant and the terrace has commanding views of Mont
Ventoux and is a beautiful spot to eat out on a summers evening. Their website has lots of
useful information on the area, how to get here, and things to do. If wine is your big
interest then the place to stay is at Domaine des Anges. Janet and Malcolm Swan have
lived here for over 25 years, making superb wine under the Côtes du Ventoux appellation
(with an occasional chardonnay which has to be labelled vin de pays du Vaucluse).
Their property includes several gîtes to let and Janet can be contacted through me.
Another source for property to rent in the area is John Reese at
www.france.co.nz.
He runs a travel business from Wellington, New Zealand, which includes much of the best
property to rent in the area. The nearest rental properties to Crillon-le-Brave are
in the village Caromb 2 kms down the hill. Le Charmery (CAR102) even has some of my
paintings on the walls.
